The Watertown Daily Times is working to fix a computer glitch, and
hopes to have a hybrid Sunday-Monday edition printed shortly,
according to the publisher.

The full print edition of today's Watertown Daily Times could not be
delivered today: the paper's website says a cyber attack, discovered
on Saturday afternoon, is to blame.

Our news partner WWNY-TV spoke with managing editor Alec Johnson. "For
our readers that didn't get the paper today, I'm sorry that that
happened and you had to be a part, a victim like we were," said
Johnson. The paper reports on its website that the virus, which left
only the calling card “Ryuk: Balance of the Shadow Universe,” is the
same one that crippled Tribune Publishing in December, according to
published reports. It also crippled the data infrastructure of
Stewart, Fla. on April, 13.

This morning, subscribers were delivered some sections of the
newspaper, which are printed in advance, but the main news sections,
sports and Sunday Weekly could not be printed Saturday night.
